Record: Last Week 1-3; Season 1-3
Florida at Tennessee The Vols have not played since Sept. 7th. Since then the Gators have been embarrassed at home by Miami and been tested by lowly Ohio University. Florida cannot go into ol’ Rocky Top and pull out the upset. Prediction: Tennessee 31, Florida 16.
Virginia Tech at Texas A+M “The Untouchables” (RB’s Kevin Jones and Lee Suggs) combined for 324 yards rushing and five touchdowns against Marshall and will have to produce again for the Hokies to win in College Station. A+M is 2-0 but barely beat Pitt two weeks ago. Being at home will keep this one close. Prediction: Virginia Tech 28, Texas A+M 23.
Notre Dame at Michigan State Michigan State got embarrassed at home by Cal 46-22, so they will be hungry this week. Notre Dame has lost five straight games to MSU so they have reason to be hungry too. This may come down to the wire. So, coaching decisions will be crucial and heavily favor Notre Dame’s Tyrone Willingham. Prediction: Notre Dame 27, MSU 24.
