We are doing a march July 30th at Locust and Henley st starting at 9(am).Reason being 2005 Draft Bill in Congress” S(89) HR (163) .The Coming Draft from age 18 to 26 male and female; S. 89, the Senate version of the legislation, indicates its purpose is “to provide for the common defense by requiring that all young persons in the United States, including women perform a period of military service or a period of civilian service in furtherance of the national defense and homeland security, and for other purposes.” It’s not that we have a problem with being in the military for those who choose it,but what about the right’s of those who’s plans are for other things. We think that every man and, woman should be allowed to make there own decisions as of to what path in there life they choose.A draft would rob our youth of this right. we will have petitions to sign against the bill available.
