o Did last year, a very big success!!!
Over 100 students came last year
o All night sketch group for all schools in triad to get together
Sketch nude models, students had opportunity to sketch for 10 hours
o Last year got $1,000, this year getting $1,200
Senate extended budget
o Breakdown? Is there a food issue?
Event is on campus, so encouraged
o Brings together the community
Glenhaven Photo Classes: $140
o Volunteers at Glenhaven, an apartment for mostly refugees
o Want to start a photo class
Idea is to give kids outlet that’s fun that’s not a school or home situation
Bring back what they want to express
End product: an art show involving journals
o Wants to see this program grow and keep going – an on going service project.
o Lots of support from Senate
