A message from Underwater Basket Weaving Club: All are hereby welcome
Underwater Basket Weaving (UWBW) is a welcoming, inclusive, and substance-free club on campus. We have lots of fun while providing a safe space for all and offering alternative activities for those who want them. Everyone is welcome; you don’t have to abstain from alcohol to be a member. Some of our members drink, while others don’t. All we ask is that no one brings alcohol or drugs to our meetings and events, and that you refrain from showing up under the influence. You can be a regular attendee or you can just show up on occasion. UWBW is a low-pressure club.
I want to extend an open invitation to all students, especially new students adjusting to life at Guilford. Feeling overwhelmed by college? Having trouble making friends? Not comfortable with large parties? Like watching movies and eating popcorn? Just want to hang out with a great group of people? Then come join us! We have movie nights every Friday at 8:30 p. m. in the Hut. Keep an eye out for other events this semester.
For more information, like us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/uwbwguilford or contact us at [email protected] to be added to our email list.
Hope to see you soon.
