This last week in senate we had Public Safety, Wellness Coordinator Kristie Wyatt and our title nine coordinator come and discuss safety on campus. Along with this discussion of safety followed a discussion of ways to improve safety on campus. One of the ways that safety could be improved would be adding cameras to campus. These cameras would be in entrances to residence halls, parking lots and roads. These cameras wouldn’t be constantly monitored, only looked at for reactionary purposes. In other news we welcomed a new club, Guilford Knit Whit, which is a knitting club. This club will be the 49th club on Guilford’s campus, meaning that there is only one more club slot.
