On May 4, 2019, Guilford College held the graduation for the Class of 2019. The commencement speaker was Dr. Johnnetta Betsch Cole, who also received an Honorary Degree. Kristy Shammas ’19 was the student speaker and Dwayne Duncan, Jr. ’19 gave the welcome from the Student Body President. The Voices of Victory Gospel Ensemble performed The Sound of Victory by Vincent Bohanan and  Since I Laid My Burdens Down by James Hall.

For the first time in 45 years, Guilford College had master’s graduates. This year five graduated from the criminal justice master’s program.
